Scented candle care
These care tips will help you enjoy your scented candles for a long time.
-
Ignition:
Use a long enough match or lighter stick to avoid soot marks on the vessel and wax.
-
First burn:
The first time, let the candle burn for 2-3 hours. This promotes even combustion throughout the life of the candle.
-
Accommodation:
Place the candle in a place at room temperature, away from drafts. Extreme temperatures can affect the combustion process.
-
Wick care:
Before each burn, trim the wick by approximately 5 mm to ensure a stable flame and prevent soot formation.
-
Purity:
Do not allow paraffin residue or dirt to get on the wick. Between burning, use lids to protect the wax from dust.
-
Burning time:
Do not let the candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent the wax from collecting too deeply and causing the wick to tip over.
